Alba Jaramillo is a director, editor and producer. She directed Visita Guiada (Visions du Réel 2026 - Jury Prize for Best Short Film, Curtas Vila Do Conde ‘26), Motorrodillo (Dok Leipzig, Doc NYC, Tampere FF ’22) and Project for a Collection (Festival Internacional de la Habana ‘15, Big Sky FF ’17). She is an IDFA Academy, EURODOC Caribbean alum, and a Sundance Producing Fellow.

Former commissioning editor for the BBC, she has also worked on independent documentaries and series as an editor and producer. She holds an MA in Creative Direction from the University of Paris 8 and an MFA in Media Arts from the State University of New York–Buffalo, where she taught film theory and immigration studies.
