Alba Jaramillo is a director, editor and producer. She directed Visita Guiada (Visions du Réel 2026), Motorrodillo (Dok Leipzig, Doc NYC ’22) and Project for a Collection (Festival Internacional de la Habana, Big Sky FF ’17). She is an IDFA Academy, EURODOC Caribbean alum, and a Sundance Producing Fellow.

Former commissioning editor for BBC, she has also worked on independent documentaries, and series as an editor and producer. She holds an MA in Creative Directing from the University of Paris 8 and an MFA in Media Arts from the State University of New York–Buffalo, where she taught film theory and immigration studies.

She is currently developing two feature documentaries and a short fiction film.
